Emily Bradford Gallup has 50 years’ experience as an Office Administrator with areas of expertise as a Consultant and Lecturer within the Public Administration industry. Providing services like Information Systems Consulting her responsibilities included analyzing the requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Solutions to any matter of concern may come to analyze or recommend commercially available user-friendly software.

Before embarking into the field of public administration, Ms. Bradford studied at the University of Maryland for her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics and later received a Masters of Public Administration in Information Science from American University. An active member of the American Library Association and the Association of Computing Machinery, Ms. Bradford is also a member of the National Academy of Sciences and has shared her knowledge, having co-authored information Retrieval On-Line, one of the first books based on computer information systems.

In light of her professional achievements, Ms. Gallup has been a recipient of many awards and accolades, including the Award for Best Information Science Book of 1974.
