Laurian Rauen

Laurian Rauen, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Avian Rescue as the Founder and Chief at Wings to New Horizons Inc.

Founded in 2000 by Laurian Rauen, Wings to New Horizons Inc. has rescued and rehabilitated countless birds left in unlivable conditions, or left for dead. Her passion and main priority is to protect the birds and animals making this the driving force behind this organization. Ms. Ruen runs her organization off of donations from the great people of Central Florida and those that truly appreciate her work with animals. These donations help provide medical care, and basic necessities, such and food water, and a place to house and rehabilitate birds.

Laurian has 11 acres of land on her property and has been trying to raise money to build a vet clinic on her property. The goal for the Avian Veterinarian Hospital is to not only be an onsite facility for birds currently being rehabilitated, but also to breed endangered, threatened, and rare species. She created this organization to provide care for parrots that are abandoned or injured that way parrots have a lifetime sanctuary so they would not be extinct.

Completing her studies at the Automation Institute, Laurian Rauen has been awarded Ambassador of the Year twice and her organization Wings to New Horizon was named Not-For-Profit of the Year one time. Today she keeps her affiliations with Board of Directors of the Oviedo-Winter Springs Chamber of Commerce.
