Sheila Hermes Marshall comes from a family of lawyers. From an early age she found herself fascinated with the intricacies of law and got herself her first job as a secretary in a law firm. LeBoeuf Jr made it a point to train and teach her until she was later promoted to partner herself in 1973 until 1995. She took a step back and stayed on staff as council until her retirement in 2004.
To better prepare for her 45 year career Ms. Marshall attended New York University School of Law, and received her JD Degree and LLB(Bachelor of Laws). She also went to St. John University in 1959, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree.
Sheila Hermes Marshall remains affiliated with the American Bar Association to this day.
