Vivian P. Moon, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of education as a Retired Continuing Education Instructor.
Vivian Moon, a Retired Continuing Education Instructor was in the field with more than 65 years of professional experience. She’s retired from Penn State University since 1997. Ms. Moon first pursued an education with Pennsylvania State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in home economics in 1953 famously graduating with only 500 girls and later continued her studies with the school earning a Master of Education in nutrition in 1975.
With an illustrious career in education, Ms. Moon has held numerous roles. Before occupying her role with Penn State she was an associate professor of foods and dietetics for the Williamsport Chamber of Commerce from 1970 to 1988. Following her time as a professor, she was put into the position as a counselor with the Bi-County Women Infants and Children Services from 1988 to 1990.
A registered dietician and a member of the National Dietetic Association, Ms. Moon has been certified by the Culinary Institute of America and Cornell University and has taught around the state of Pennsylvania. Ms. Moon has crossed oceans with her knowledge to China, Mongolia, and Rwanda Africa with the medical branch of People to People, an international travel program for students providing aid to those with little to no access to healthcare.
Ms. Vivian P. Moon would like to dedicate her success to Lawrence Robert, Deborah Diane, and Judy Lynn. In loving memory of Louis Raymond Moon.
