Nisha Bhide, PharmD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Pharmacy as a PharmD and Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) at Ascension.
Ascension’s pharmacists use the most innovative technology, collaborating with doctors and nurses to help streamline treatment and recovery. Dr. Bhide has worked as a national senior management in medication management since January of 2019, serving as the Pgy2 Health System pharmacy administration and leadership residency program coordinator. She renders expert pharmacy services in a corporate setting, where she oversees other pharmacy professionals and provides leadership.
An acclaimed leader who thrives in team settings, Dr. Bhide has seven years of experience in the industry and five years of experience as PharmD. She attributes her success to being lucky and receiving excellent training. When asked why she entered the field, she replies, “I went into pharmacy after high school. I always wanted to help people with their medical conditions. Pharmacy is a really great platform to accomplish that.
It is a healthcare career with a lot of opportunities: hospitals, pharmacies, etc.” She advises new pharmacists to, “Have a passion for helping the patient. Go for it.”
To prepare for her career, Dr. Bhide earned a PharmD from Rutgers University, graduating in 2014. Having an excellent academic record, she joined multiple honor societies such as Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacy Honors Leadership Society, Phi Delta Chi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, and Academy of Student Pharmacists.
To remain abreast of changes in her field, Dr. Bhide is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, New Jersey Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and American College of Clinical Pharmacy.
On account of Dr. Bhide’s impressive achievements as a pharmacist, the American Health Council recognized her as one of the Best in Medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Bhide likes traveling throughout the globe.
