Paul A. Suhr, Esq., is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Law in acknowledgment of his role as an Attorney at Mitchell & Shur PLLC.
Supported by over thirty years of delivering results, Mr. Suhr is one of the top attorneys in northern and eastern North Carolina. At his offices in Raleigh and Fayetteville, Mr. Suhr represents clients in the areas of immigration, criminal, and business law. He works tirelessly to take every step necessary to provide favorable outcomes to his clients. He has extensive experience in deportation proceedings and criminal matters, representing clients in the later for twenty years in the District and Superior Courts of Wake County.
Native of Korea, Mr. Suhr came to the United States in 1966 and has lived in North Carolina ever since. He is the son of an internationally celebrated poet, inheriting a passion for writing from his mother. He was a writer and poet from 1958 to 1973, publishing poetry and short fiction and continuing to write independently in recent years. He then became a professional librarian, remaining in the field until he started practicing law in 1989. He is admitted to practice in the state of North Carolina, U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and federal courts.
The recipient of multiple degrees, Mr. Suhr earned a Bachelor of Arts in Writing in 1969 and a Master of Library Science in 1975. In 1988, he earned a Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University School of Law.
An accomplished attorney, Mr. Suhr has received many awards and recognitions, including National Trial Lawyer Association Top 100. He attributes his success to his empathy, putting himself in his client’s shoes; he is dedicated to helping people who cannot help themselves.
Mr. Suhr dedicates this recognition to Randolph Riley, Esq., who was the former district attorney for Wake County, and to William Wells, Esq., who was the former vice president of University of North Carolina.
