Tara Ryan

Tara Ryan, President/CEO, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Design as the President and CEO of Ryan Young Interiors. 

As one of the top interior design companies in the greater San Diego area, Ryan Young Interiors offers premier services for residential and commercial developments internationally. Their areas of expertise include model homes, multi-family buildings, hospitality, commercial, clubhouses, high-rises, lobbies, and corridors. They provide the gamut of design services, including conceptual design, procurement, and installation. Services provided consist of lifestyle marketing, outdoor living, architectural review and livability study, interior design drawings, conceptual design, design implementation, renderings and illustrations, schematic design, design development, construction administration, design development, exterior colorization, and miscellaneous specifications. Ms. Ryan and Robert Young have been business partners for over twenty years, establishing Ryan Young Interiors in 1991. 

Backed by twenty-eight years of interior design experience, Ms. Ryan is venerated by her peers and clients for being an aesthete and outstanding project manager. An interior design and interior architecture specialist, she runs the day to day operations, meeting with clients who admire the office’s aesthetics and modern works. She has earned a reputation as an effective business owner, following her philosophy: “Do what we say we’re going to do, when we say we’re going to do it.” Before serving as President and CEO, she was a designer to the vice president of design of the McMillin Company for five years and worked in China for twelve. In recognition of academic achievements, Ms. Ryan earned an undergraduate degree from Washington State University. She completed additional coursework at the Institute of Design & Technology of South Dakota. 

Remaining aware of the latest developments, Ms. Ryan is a member of National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), Building Industry Association (BIA), and Sales and Marketing Council (SMC). A noted humanitarian, she donates to various charitable organizations. 

The recipient of numerous awards, Ms. Ryan won the Best Design of a Multifamily Project for the Origin Apartments at the Tribute Awards in 2018, the Best Design of a Multifamily Project for the Origin Apartments at the Excellence in Homebuilding Awards. She was a finalist of the Best Interior Design of a Detached Home at the Northstate BIA Awards and the Best Interior Merchandising of a Multi-Family Home Plan at the Icon Awards. 

Ms. Ryan’s passion is work. When she has spare time, she enjoys spending time with family. 

Ms. Ryan dedicates this recognition in loving memory of her mother Oncology Registered Nurse Mary Boyle, who taught her compassion and empathy; to her father Engineer Andrew Boyle, who taught her attention to detail; and to her Business Partner Robert Young, who has taught her the business end of interior design and how to be business savvy.
