Martin J. Sobol

Martin J. Sobol is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Law as a Labor Lawyer at Sobol Law Group PC.  

As a Boutique Labor and Employment Defense Firm, Sobol Law Group PC counsels employers on compliance with federal, state and local employment laws in an effort to prevent litigation at its inception. Representing management in all aspects of union relations for over 40 years, Sobol Law Group PC counsels employers during major corporate changes, such as mergers, acquisitions, shutdowns or relocations, in an effort to limit withdrawal liability from multi-employer pension funds and in dealing with successorship obligations.  

As the founder of Sobol Law Group and with over 46 years of experience as an attorney, Mr. Sobol specializes as a Management Representation in Labor and Employment Law matters.  

Throughout his education and training, Mr. Sobol received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State University and his Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law.  

To further his prodessional development, Mr. Sobol is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and has been admitted in the United States Supreme Court, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.  

In acknowledgement of her professional achievement, Mr. Sobol has been nominated by his peers with the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards.  

Outside the office, Mr. Sobol enjoys playing golf (with an impressive 8 handicap) and reading books on history especially works on Winston Churchill.
