Robert M. Holland is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Attorney as a Partner at Legacy Law Associates P.L.
Admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1972 and in his first 20 years of practice, Mr. Holland was the managing partner of a transactional law firm with offices located in Freehold and Red Bank, NJ with emphasis on real property, including zoning, planning, development, purchases and sales. In addition to many purchase and sale transactions, Bob represented numerous municipal Zoning and Planning Boards, and also represented developers before many other Zoning and Planning Boards. Around this time, Mr. Holland also served a 3 year term as an Appellate Judge of the New Jersey State Division of Tax Appeals. After relocating to Florida in 1992 and being admitted to the bar in the Sunshine state in the same year, Mr. Holland’s practice evolved to estate planning and Elder Law.
Currently, Mr. Holland is a partner in the law firm of Legacy Law Associates in Daytona Beach since 1998. As an Elder Law Attorney, Mr. Holland assists families with creation of a personalized estate plan, designed to accomplish their goals and protect their family and finances. Dedicating most of his time and efforts to help families dealing with the consequences of age related disability and the cost of long term care as well as assisting families to identify and define their planning goals and then create a “workable” estate plan to accomplish those goals even in the event of unanticipated disability and ultimately upon death, Mr. Holland serves as their guide through the Medicaid Maze and protects and preserves assets while securing needed and available financial assistance.
Throughout his education and training, Mr. Holland graduated from Mount St. Mary’s College, Emmitsburg, MD and then earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from Boston University School of Law. Following this, Mr. Holland was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1972 and the Florida Bar in 1992.
To further his professional development, Mr. Holland is a member of the Florida Bar, the New Jersey Bar, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, the Volusia County Bar Association, and the Elder Counsel. Also, Mr. Holland served on the Council on Aging of Volusia County since 2001.
