In addition to her career in the trucking industry, Ms. Brannon is an accomplished inventor of multiple different mechanisms. She is the inventor of a patented children’s toy Garage Buddies, which is an educational toy that gives children the opportunity to explore the mechanics and parts typically inside of a car safely. She is also the inventor of the Easy Bulb/Clamp Light Bulb (patent pending). The Easy Bulb/Clamp Light Bulb allows a light bulb to be pushed in and pulled out rather than screwed in and out, preventing over-tightened and broken bulbs. It also eliminates the chance of cuts burns or electrical shock and enables anyone to be able to change a light bulb even those who struggle with arthritis or limited mobility. Ms. Brannon additionally is a Licensed AC Engineer.
Ms. Brannon would like to dedicate this recognition in loving memory of her father. She would also like to recognize her mentors, Rodney Patrick and Loman Craig.
