Amassing over thirty years of experience in the industry of Tax Preparation, Acker is currently the Owner and Operator of TLA Tax Preparer. Throughout her career, Acker has specialized in various facets of the industry, including consulting for new business owners and tax preparation in all states and Canada. Prior to establishing TLA Tax Preparer, Acker completed several years of experience at accounting-related positions at a number of different companies, including, Finance Manager at AmeriDroid, Accounting Manager at Microphor, A Wabtec Company; and Controller at Pamela’s Products, Inc. Board member of Love Your Life, to further her professional development, Acker is an affiliate of the National Association of Professional Women and NonProfit TV (BarbTV.org). When not working, she enjoys playing soccer, golf, spending quality time with her family, and traveling. Acker dedicates this recognition in loving memory of her father, Brian James Kennard Bell, who taught her to believe that anything is possible and in loving memory of her husband, Stewart Barry Acker, who passed away from cancer, for all of his love and encouragement.
