Dr. Alistair R. McCracken is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Agriculture as a result of his role Principal Scientific Officer with Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute. The Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute is a leading provider of scientific research and services to government, non-governmental and commercial organizations. With over thirty years of experience in willow and poplar growing as a plant pathologist, Dr. McCracken specializes in bioremediation renewable heat, water treatment and plant health. He has been noted as the editor of the publication, Rust Diseases of Willow and Poplar, and is affiliated with the Association of Applied Biology- Editorial Board, the Society of Biolog, and the British Society of Plant Pathology. Throughout his educational career, Dr. McCracken has earned his Ph.D. from Queens University of Belfast, and his B.S. from the University of Strathclyde.
