Regina M. Davis is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional as a result of Excellence as a Children’s Book Author. With almost four decades of experience teaching elementary school in New York and Virginia, Regina recently retired and decided to focus her attention on writing. Regina is the co-author of a children's anti-bullying series. The first book is entitled "Senor Smarty Pantaloons and the Mystery of the Missing Teachers" which she wrote with co-author/illustrator Carolyn Royer Spencer. This colorful tale is set at Foxaloon Elementary where the principal, Miss Foxanna Powerpaws, is involved in some unusual and mysterious happenings.
Regina has several recently published works including “Lord Computesalot Ruler of Aurora Bullyalis and His Secret Quest to End Bullying”,which won Honorable Mention at the J.M. Northern Book Festival in Hollywood on Oct.18,2013. The third book in the series, “Lord Computesalot’s Quintessential Quest to Banish Bullies”, is a fun activity book with poetry, puzzles, songs, and games designed to teach children about bullying. All books in this expanding fantasy, sci-fi series with unique, unusual characters are authored by anti-bullying advocates Regina M. Davis and Carolyn Royer Spencer, who also illustrated the stories.
In addition to her work as a children’s book author, Regina enjoys writing poetry. Her poem, "Tomorrow" was published in the anthology, "Across the Universe" in 1996. She has also been published by the National Library of Poets. Regina earned her B.S.in Elementary Education from St. John’s and also holds an M.A. from Hofstra University. She is currently a member of the International Reading Association; Red Hats; Virginia Beach Education Association; and the National Education Association; and is a Board Member of Cape Charles Historical Society.
