Sheryl C. Maxsom

Sheryl C. Maxsom is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Education. Sheryl is the Principal of Gonzalo and Sofia Garcia Elementary School within the Canutillo ISD. Canutillo ISD provides high quality educational opportunities that will inspire all students to acquire and use the knowledge and skills needed to become leaders and productive citizens in a culturally diverse and technologically sophisticated world. With nearly twenty five years of experience in education field and six years with CISD, Sheryl specializes in elementary education, administration management, and gifted and talented education. She holds a certification in ESL from Texas A&M University, and is also certified in Gifted and Talented from The University of Texas-Pan American. Furthermore, Sheryl is a member of TEPSA and AERA, and in her spare time, she enjoys travel and cruises, and gardening.  Throughout her educational career, Sheryl earned an MA in Education Administration Management from Sul Ross State University, and a BS in Elementary Education/Mathematics from The University of Texas at El Paso.
