The Barren County Cooperative Extension Service provides up-to-date, research based information from the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service. The company provides programs and materials for areas including horticulture, 4-H, youth development, family and consumer sciences, homemakers, agriculture, community and economic development.
As a County Extension Agent, Paula specializes in leadership development; recruitment; educational programs for youth Development and volunteers; as well as attracting and establishing a 4-H volunteer base. She is currently responsible for the oversight of 600 adult and teen volunteers, as well as providing educational programming to 4,000 young people.
