Dr. Owen B. Mathre, PhD

Dr. Owen B. Mathre, Ph.D. is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Chemical Development and Consulting. Dr. Mathre is a Senior Consultant and Owner of Chem Qual Consulting LLC. In his current roles, Dr. Mathre focuses on Chemical Process Development; Quality Assurance and Control; Quality Systems; as well as Problem Solving.

In addition, he provides clients with Information, Consulting Services,and Continuing Education Training. Furthermore, Dr. Mathre is the Former President of the Harvard Club of Delaware, and has been a member of the American Chemical Society Member since 1950. He has previously worked as an engineer and instructor for St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA, and has been married to his wife, Alice, since 1955. Dr. Mathre has had several publications of his work printed in professional realms, and also holds the honor of US patents for Process For the Combined Synthesis of Betaine and Choline Chloride, and Process for Etching Aluminum. Dr. Mathre lives by his philosophy, which is to listen to people who give you information to solve problems, and he is an esteemed member of the American Water Works Association and the Photographic Society of America. Throughout his educational career, Dr. Mathre earned his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Minnesota. He also holds an A.B. in Chemistry from Harvard University.
