Professor Drew Dwyer

Professor Drew Dwyer is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Nursing as a result of his role as Nurse with Frontline Care Solutions. Frontline Care Solutions specializes in providing effective solutions for aged care facilities, nursing homes, nurses and care workers in the front line of care. All of their products and services focus on the provision of high quality person-centered care, ranging from learning and development, policy management and clinical and operational tools designed specifically for the aged and community care sectors. With over twenty six years of experience in the industry, Drew is an expert in nursing education and administration, gerontology, geriatric nursing management, institutionalized care, behavior management and more. Upon embarking on his nursing career right out of high school, Drew was recruited as a nurse and joined the army. He specialized in aviation nursing and was a paramedic for active combat overseas with the United Nations and Australian Army. In addition to position with Frontline Care Solutions, Drew is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Queensland, and is a member of Royal College of Nursing Australia, the Australian Counseling Association, the Australian Association of Gerontology, and is a Clinical Fellow and President of the JBI International Alumni. His wife Rae launched Frontline Care Solutions in 2004, where she has created a successful business with a focus on creating the best outcomes in the frontline of care. Outside of work, Drew enjoys traveling to third world countries, fitness, and spending time with family. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Evidence- Based Healthcare Gerontology at Adelaide University, and has earned a MClinSc, in Evidence- Based Healthcare from Adelaide University.
