Dr. Janice A. Santos Cortes is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Healthcare as a 
result of her role as both a Physician and Assistant Professor of Urology at Columbia University Division of Urology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida.
In her current position, Dr. Santos's clinical interests include the medical and surgical treatment of the various urologic cancers that affect both men and women, as well as male and female incontinence, vaginal prolapse, voiding dysfunction, urodynamics, and surgical outcomes. In addition, Dr. Santos Cortes has a special interest in managing patients with neurogenic voiding dysfunction.
As a result of her dedication and professionalism, Dr. Santos Cortes maintains affiliation with numerous organizations in the field of healthcare. She is currently a member of the American Urology Association,
American Medical Association, Society of Women in Urology, Society of Urodynamics and Female Urology, Society of Urologic Oncology, and Alpha Omega Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Santos Cortes earned both her medical degree and undergraduate degree from the University of Puerto Rico. She completed her urology residency training at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine,
Montefiore Medical Center, NY. Following her residency, Dr. Santos Cortes pursued a fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital. Upon completing her first fellowship, Dr. Santos moved back to New York, where she trained in female urology, voiding dysfunction, urodynamics, neurourology and endourology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center.
