Magdalena Jara

Magdalena Jara is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Alternative Medicine as a result of her role as an Acupuncturist and Owner of Harmony Healing Center located in Toronto, Canada. Magdalena’s eager desire for learning and personal development allows her to facilitate the healing of others. Following this path of helping and healing, she currently specializes in Medical and Cosmetic Acupuncture; Cranial Therapy; Japanese Massage; Shiatsu Therapy; Chinese and Western Herbology; Homeopathy; Astrology; and Radionics. In order to pursue Alternative Medicine in an educational setting, Magdalena attended a professional two year course of Shiatsu therapy and Oriental Studies from the Shiatsu School of Canada in Toronto. She then continued her Acupuncture studies with Dr Lam, who is one the oldest and experienced teacher in Toronto. In 1993, Magdalena came back from Shanghai, China, where she was immersed in the studies and practice of Acupuncture in different hospitals of this ancient and cosmopolitan city. Upon her return from China, Magdalena began to practice in her own Healing Center which has since opened a second location.
