MaryAnn P. Marans is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the Government field in recognition of her role as Information Systems Security Officer at the FBI.

An intelligence driven and national security organization, the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s mission is to “protect the American people and uphold the Constitution of the United States.” With its establishment since 1908 and serving as an active overseer of over 35,000 individuals, the organization seeks out in protecting civil rights, protecting the United States from terrorist attacks, and combating public corruption at all levels. With leadership, agility, and integration at the forefront of their values, the FBI prides themselves on their “uncompromising personal integrity and institutional integrity.”

With over three decades worth of experience working in the Federal Government, nineteen years with the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation, and twelve years of experience with the Department of Defense, MaryAnn P. Marans has established herself as a trusted name in the industry. A wellseasoned and sought after professional, Ms. Marans has attained extensive expertise in the areas of Security Functions and as an IT Specialist.

Charitable to various organizations, Ms. Marans has been a Cub Scout Leader for the Boy Scouts of America for over 5 years, a District Cub Scout Roundtable Commissioner, and a District Cub Trainer. She is also affiliated with the Wounded Warrior Project.

To further enhance her professional development, Ms. Marans is a distinguished fellow of several prominent organizations including Toastmasters International, FAPAC, and NARFE.

When she is not working, Ms. Marans enjoys spending quality time with her four dogs, movies, running, and playing games on the iPad.

Ms. Marans dedicates this recognition to her father, Horace Tarr, her co-worker Lila Heck, and the entire group of Toastmasters International West Virginia.
