Alicia Hinds Ward is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the field of Consulting in recognition of her role as Managing Director of DuraBante, LLC

Established since 2008, DuraBante, LLC is a strategic staffing and management-consulting firm that has serviced the Maryland area for the past ten years. Dedicated to formulating “client centered solutions,” the firm is comprised of a team of “military veterans and industry professionals focused on program and project management in support of Physical Asset Lifecycle Management, and Transformation Initiatives.”

A prominent expert in the field, Ward is revered for her work in the industry. Throughout her career, Ward has attained extensive experience within the areas of disability and crisis management, government requirements and support, flexibility, management, multicultural group management and conflict resolution, creative problem-solving, issue analysis and more.

Throughout the course of her education and training, Ward earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies and Alternative Dispute Resolution from Kaplan University. Ward anticipates receiving her Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Maryland in 2019.

To further her professional development, Ward is an affiliate of several organizations including the National Association of Professional Women. Ward is an EFMP Family Panel Representative for the Air National Guard and Co-founder of the JBA Business and Community Support Group established in October 2011 to encourage monthly interaction within the military community and marketing resources for military business owners. In addition, Ward Co-founded the Joint Base Andrews Spouse Forums Group in 2012 and was the coordinator of the JBA SHARE Food network program which distributed reduced cost food.

In recognition of her professional accolades, Ward was the recipient of the 2013 Armed Forces Insurance Military, National Guard, & District of Columbia Spouse of the Year award. Additionally, Ward was Featured as a Exceptional Advocate in the Military Community and Family Policy, and the recipient of The Exceptional Advocate Magazine from 2012-2013, the 2011 Volunteer Excellence Award, and 2012 Civilian Volunteer of the Year award.

When she is not working, Ward enjoys spending time with family, charity, and baking.

Ward dedicates this recognition to her husband, Master Sergeant Edwinston Ward, her parents Kenneth and Eucene, and her three sons.
