Carol A. Glass is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a 3 Year Pinnacle Professional Member in the field of Community Service in recognition of her role as Founder and Executive Director of Glass House, Inc. Established in 2004, Glass House Inc. is a nonprofit organization specialized in providing community services to the homeless, parolees, those in recovery, and families. In an effort to help individuals on the margins of the community again become integrated members, the company seeks out in “recovery and healing” so that individuals can eventually become self-sufficient. The goal of Glass House, Inc. is to provide stability, “Peace-ing Lives Back Together Again.” Providing a therapeutic and tranquil environment, the organization provides a place for its clients to “regroup.” Offering guided access to community services within a unique program, Glass House, Inc. helps form individual goal plans and family goal plans, catered to the specific needs of their clients. Bringing hope and confidence to those in need and the larger community, Glass House, Inc. first provides housing, then helps with work skills and job searches, with the help of job services. In addition, the organization specializes in teaching basic life skills, from cooking and cleaning to accountability and effective communication, inspiring creativity and positivity through enhanced self-image and self-esteem, budget management and credit building. Amassing over fourteen years of experience in her current role, Glass specializes in job placement, housing for parolees, and substance abuse recovery. Glass holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Forensic Investigation from Kaplan University, earned magna cum laude. In her previous years, Glass was a facilitator of Center for Community Peacemaking located in Lancaster County. Carol Glass is certified by the Pennsylvania Board of Health as a Recovery Specialist. She is an affiliate of several organizations including the International Women’s Leadership Association. When she is not working, Glass enjoys going to the beach and spending quality time with her family. Glass dedicates her work to the loving memory of her parents, Patricia and Charles Kuhn and her sister, Linda. She also recognizes her brothers, Robert and Richard.
