Throughout his career, Dr. Kanaan has attained experience within the areas of care and oversight of stroke patients, tracking data and conducting peer reviews. Throughout the course of his education and training, Dr. Kanaan attained his Medical degree from the Jordan University of Science and Technology. Board Certified in Neurology and Psychiatry, Dr. Kanaan interned with the Ministry of Health in Jordan and completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma. To further his professional development, Dr. Kanaan is an affiliate of several organizations including the American Medical Association, American Heart Association, American Heart and Stroke Association, Parkinson’s Support Group, and is currently a Moderator at the Neuroscience Symposium. In recognition of his professional accolades, Dr. Kanaan was recognized by Leading Physicians of the World. When he is not working, Dr. Kanaan enjoys playing soccer.
