Kathryn M. Hobbs

Kathryn M. Hobbs is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Education. Kathryn is the Executive Director with the Washington State PTA Association. Established in 1905, the Washington State PTA Association has been looking out for children’s health, safety and well-being for over a century. With over 132,000 members throughout 875 local PTAs across the state, the Washington State PTA Association is the largest volunteer based organization in the state. A retired US Navy Captain, Kathryn now focuses her career on ensuring the success of each student in the state by providing the necessary tools, guidance and opportunities to make sure they are ready for college and a future of success. Specializing in education, leadership, non-profit management and student affairs, Kathryn is a member of the Washington Society of Association Executives and National Association of Professional Women. Charitably, she gives back to organizations including Heroes to Hometowns, The American Legion, VFW and the Fleet Reserve Association. In her free time, Kathryn enjoys antiques, reading and hiking in the mountains. Kathryn received her Ph.D. from University of San Diego following receipt of two Master’s degrees; one in Educational Counseling from Seattle University and the other in Strategic Resources through ICWF.
