Stephen T. Greer, P.C., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the Legal field. Greer serves as an Attorney in the practice of Greer, Swafford and Adams. He brings over 44 years of career experience, as well as expertise in the areas of personal injury, plaintiff work and criminal defense, to his role. “I believe you deserve quality representation from an experienced lawyer who understands your legal problem and has the ability and know how to provide you with the expertise and attention you deserve,” Greer said. “I have represented clients in personal injury, wrongful death, commercial litigation, criminal defense, divorce litigation and many other areas.” Greer earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Technological University. He then went on to complete his Juris Doctor from Tennessee College of Law. To further his professional development, he is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association as well as the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association (now Tennessee Association for Justice), of which he formerly served as Vice President, and has also served on its Board of Governors for the past 25 years. Additionally, he is a member the Tennessee Bar Association, the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Tennessee, the U.S. Court of Appeals 6th Circuit, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court Western District of Kentucky and the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Arkansas. Aside from his work in Practice, Greer has taught a number of courses and seminars, including: Claiming Against the Second Injury Fund, Workers’ Compensation Seminar, Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association; Meeting Yourself Coming and Going: Examining Your Former Expert, Mid-Winter Convention, Tennessee Association for Justice; and Ideas on Voir Dire – Annual Convention, Tennessee Association for Justice. Greer has also published a number of works in legal journals, including: “Non-Resident Motorist Action – Where Suit Is Filed But Service Of Process Not Obtained,” 39 Tennessee Law Review 341, 1972; and “Products Liability – Strict Liability in Tort As Applied To Retailers – Economic Loss,” 39 Tennessee Law Review 525, 1972.
