William G. Young is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of his contributions in the fields of Business and Hospitality Management. Donaldson’s Campsite (also known as George A. Donaldson & Sons Campsite) is a family-owned and operated resort established in 1946 by George A. Donaldson, Young’s grandfather. Known as a huge tourist attraction, Donaldson’s campsite is a popular destination for tourists. As President of Donaldson’s Campsite, a 700-acre campground in Lake Clear, New York, Young utilizes his expertise in administration, accounting, customer service, hospitality management, new business development and marketing strategies. In his role, Young focuses on maintaining the campground’s reputation of excellence and first-class guest services. He oversees operations, scheduling, purchasing, accounting, working with team members and maintenance. According to his featured release from Worldwide Branding, Young “attributes his successful career to growing up in the business” and “learning a great deal [through] combining hands-on experience and education. Throughout the course of his education, Young attained a Master of Arts in Finance from SUNY Empire State College and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Syracuse University. He is a member of Global Who’s Who and his area Kiwanis Club, from which he received the Club’s 25-Year Award. When not working, Young is an active volunteer at his local church and enjoys skiing and travel. He dedicates this recognition to his grandfather, George A. Donaldson, founder of Donaldson’s Campsite, as well as his grandmother, Marion and his parents, Norma and Kenneth Young.
