Becky S. Knowledgeable in all facets of state and federal regulations as they pertain to manure management plans and comprehensive nutrient management plans, the team at Twin Lakes Environmental Service has served the industry for several years. Twin Lakes Environmental Services acts as a liaison between farmers with local and federal agencies. The company works in assisting livestock producers who wish to build a facility or expand an existing facility stay in compliance with regulations and keep the farming operations within their families. The goal is to ensure that environmentally sound agricultural practices are used and that manure is used in compliance with all regulations Owner of Twin Lakes Environmental Services, she has worked for over 15 years helping family farmers. Sexton has had the desire to help farmers since she was a child. Her goal was to ensure that environmentally sound agricultural practices were used and that manure is used in compliance with all regulations. Believing the process has become more complicated than it needs to be, Sexton wishes to simplify it and assist clients in understanding what needs to be done. A volunteer advocate for D/SAOC and a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Sexton received the Volunteer of the Year award from Main Street Iowa in 2001. Active in local events and committees, Sexton served as a board member & secretary for Farm Bureau in Calhoun County, Iowa. In addition, she is also an affiliate of the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association & Iowa Pork Producers. When she is not working, Sexton loves to volunteer for the Iowa Food & Family Project.
