 Juanita Hiwassie Ashe is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Government Services. Her professional title is Retired Employment Counselor with the State of California. A retired United States Air Force veteran, Juanita served from 1953 to 1956 and again from 1957 to 1959. Following leaving the Air Force, Juanita worked in the Pentagon and then for the State of California for over 30 years, where she specialized in employment counseling and mentoring. Passionate about both of her careers, Juanita states she “loved the work and wants to do it again.” Maintaining affiliations with the Air Force Sergeants Association, Juanita spends her free time with family and is active in her local church, the First Presbyterian Church of Petaluma, where she serves as a deaconess. Reflecting on her studies, Juanita received a Certificate in Counseling from California State University
