Lura Kirkland is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Transportation. Lura is the Owner of Kirkland Bros, 
Inc. Founded in 1985 by Lura’s father, Kirkland Bros is a trucking company providing quality used trucks and trailers.
At an early age, Lura began working for the family business where she started off answering the phones and filing checks. Fast forward to present, she now is responsible for the day to day operations as well as all financial and managerial duties following her father’s passing in 2006. Recognized as a VIP Woman of The Year by the National Association of Professional Women, Lura maintains affiliation with UTA and the Odessa Symphony Guild. In her free time, she enjoys quality family time, skiing, waterskiing and cooking. Throughout the course of her educational career, Lura attended Texas A&M University where she studied Architecture.
