Bridgette Gomillion-Williams, Ph.D., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a 2015 Prominent Professional of The Year in the field of
Engineering. Dr. Gomillion-Williams is a Technical Research Specialist with Saint Gobain Performance Plastics Corporation.
Founded in 1665, Saint Gobain Performance Plastics is a global leader in the production and engineering behind high performance polymer products for various industries throughout the globe. Utilizing her twenty-five years of experience, Dr. GomillionWilliams’ areas of concentration include: polymer material science, the development of extruded open cell polypropylene foams for personal hygiene applications, development of thermoplastic reactive polymer processes as well as manufacturing parts for medical devices and much more.
To keep up with the latest advancements in the industry, Dr. Gomillion-Williams remains an active member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, American Fiber Society, American Chemical Society and the Society of Plastics Engineers. Dr. Gomillion-Williams earned her Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the School of Material Science and Engineering at Clemson University in addition to her Bachelor of Science in Polymer Chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
