Siv Hilde Houmb, Ph.D., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the Oil and Gas industry. Dr. Houmb is the CTO of 
Secure–NOK® AS. Established in 2011 by Dr. Houmb and her sister Liv Elin Houmb, Secure-NOK® AS provides solutions to aid in the detection and removal of cyber security attacks and other harmful events affecting onshore and offshore oil and gas installations.
Harnessing over two decades of professional experience, Dr. Houmb has been in this position for five years where her duties include: technical strategy and development, standardization, business development and management as well as general coordination of the technical and sales work. Her expertise in cyber security for critical information systems is vital to clients throughout the nation. A member of the National Association of Professional Women, Dr. Houmb was recognized as a VIP Woman of The Year.
She is also a prominent member of SPE, IADC and IEEE. Outside of work, she enjoys running, biking, swimming and training for Ironman. Heavily knowledgeable in the industry, Dr. Houmb obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information Security from Norwegian University of Science and Technology following her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Information Technology.
