Elaine Steneck is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Higher Education. Elaine is the Director of the
Intensive English Program at the University of Northern Colorado. Founded in 1889, the University of Northern Colorado provides students with a rich education through hundreds of programs and degree options within both undergraduate and graduate coursework. Garnering twenty years of experience in education, Elaine currently works in the areas of language acquisition, adult education, program planning, development, and review, curriculum design and instruction, student development and leadership strategies. Recognized by the National Association of Professional Women as a VIP Woman of The Year, Elaine is a member of TESOL and NAFSA. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and updating old furniture. Throughout the course of her studies, Elaine received both her Master of Arts in English and Bachelor of Arts in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the University of Northern Colorado. In addition, Elaine holds a Graduate Certificate in Post-Colonial Studies from the University of Queensland. She is currently a student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs Leadership Ph.D. program at the University of Northern Colorado.
