Irma Jean Lowry Eufinger, RN, BSN

Irma Jean Lowry Eufinger, RN, BSN, is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Nursing. Ms. Eufinger is an Occupational Health Nurse with the Oklahoma City-County Health Department. Established in 1910, the Oklahoma City-County Health  Department was created to control disease in the rapidly growing population of Oklahoma City. Now, OCCHD has  expanded to multiple locations around Oklahoma County, and they strive to create a healthy, disease-free community.

 

An esteemed Occupational Health Nurse, Ms. Eufinger has been working in the healthcare industry for over fifty years. She has been in her current position for the past decade and specializes in nursing, public health, disease prevention and awareness, as well as educating staff and employees on communicable diseases and is a liaison regarding  immunizations for domestic and international travelers. The recipient of the Lillian Wald award for 25 years of  exemplary service in Nursing, Ms. Eufinger maintains  affiliation with the Oklahoma Public Health Association, Oklahoma Nurses Association, and the American Public Health Association. Additionally, she received an award  for her contributions in Public Health from the Oklahoma Public Health Association in 2009.  Throughout the course of her collegiate career, Ms. Eufinger obtained her BSN from the University of Oklahoma.
