Angela L. Dence

Angela L. Dence is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as 2014 VIP Young Woman of The Year in the field of Accounting as a result of her role as Controller with Bankers Healthcare Group, Inc. Since 1992, Bankers Healthcare Group, Inc. has provided working capital to healthcare professionals of all specialties throughout the United States. Presently, Angela’s expertise is in accounting and management, preparing and analyzing periodic reports, preparation and coordination of annual audits. She is responsible for the oversight of the accounting department and all day-to-day income and expense ledgers. Angela works directly with the Chief Accounting Officer to establish and maintain effective internal controls to support their financial infrastructure while ensuring conformity with GAAP. Angela has worn many hats within the accounting and finance area at BHG. She has been the project lead in the implementation of a new accounting system and human resource management system.

Currently, Angela is the project lead on implementing a Budget and Forecasting software along with rolling out a company-wide budget. She is also a key member of an internal team that is  building a loan management system.  Angela is a member of the National Association of  Professional Women and in her spare time, enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, shopping, and  exercising. Throughout her educational career, Angela earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and  Finance from Columbia College, and is currently enrolled  in the Masters in Accountancy program from Southern  New Hampshire University.  For more information, please visit www.bhg-inc.com.
