Raymond Irwin

Raymond Irwin is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of   minerals exploration and mining as a result of his role as Vice President of Exploration and Development for Mahdia Gold Corporation. Mahdia Gold Corporation is a publically traded (TSX) gold exploration and mining company specializing in the acquisition, evaluation and development of gold projects. The Madhia management team consists of highly experienced and skilled mining industry professionals that have successfully developed and operated mines in various parts of the world. Raymond has over forty years of experience in the mining industry where has specialized in base and precious metals exploration, project evaluation, and mine development.  

As Vice President, he is responsible for the oversight of  all exploration and development programs, as well as the management and supervision of a variety of personnel. Moreover, he is a member of the Canadian Institute of  Mining, the Society of Economic Geologists and the Society for Mining Metallurgy and Exploration, as well as being a registered or Certified Professional Geologist in Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky and Utah, and with the American Institute of Professional Geologists. Additionally, Raymond was inducted into the Geology Department’s Hall of Fame at New Mexico State University in 2010 where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology
