Giovanni Fontana- Antonelli is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as an Outstanding Professional in the field of Government Relations. Giovanni is an Architect with UNESCO. In 1945, UNESCO was created in order to respond to the firm belief of nations, forged by two world wars in less than a generation that political and economic agreements are not enough to build a lasting peace. At a time when the world is looking for new ways to build peace and sustainable development, people must rely on the power of intelligence to innovate, expand their horizons and sustain the hope of a new humanism. UNESCO exists to bring this creative intelligence to life; for it is in the minds of men and women that the defenses of peace and the conditions for sustainable development must be built.
Upon moving from Europe to New York City, Giovanni has been working in Architecture since 1998, and keeps himself busy by getting involved with many projects. His expertise is in agriculture development, renovations, transportation, farm houses, guest houses, capacity building, sustainable and community development, international relations, urban planning, human rights, proposal writing, and research strategies. Aside from the demands of work, Giovanni enjoys spending time with friends and family, arts and music. Throughout his educational career, Giovanni earned his Master of Architecture (MArch), City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Florence. In addition, he received a certificate in Urban Planning and Urban Renewal from the University of Florence.
