Dr. Stephanie Audrey Binder,MD

Dr. Stephanie Audrey Binder, M.D., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Medicine. Dr. Binder is a Medical Doctor with Pediatrix Medical Group. Pediatrix Medical Group is the largest provider of maternalfetal newborn and pediatric subspecialty physician services in the country. Pediatrix Medical Group operates through more than 1,485 neonatal maternal-fetal and pediatric subspecialists and was founded in 1979 as an operating unit of MEDNAX. The group and its affiliated professional corporations feature more than 600 advanced practitioners in 35 states across the United States including Puerto Rico. In her current capacity, Dr. Binder specializes in pediatric neonatology, and she works closely with neonatal medicine and perinatal intensive care where she is responsible for monitoring newborn infants and assessing the issues that come with premature birth. In addition to her position at Pediatrix Medical Group, Dr. Binder is a neonatologist on the NICU team at Wesley Medical Center, and is on the clinical faculty at the University of Kansas Wichita as well.

She is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and received the Patients’ Choice Award in 2008 and 2009. Furthermore, she is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Board of Pediatrics, and the Ghana Medical Association. Outside of work, Dr. Binder enjoys tennis, swimming, spending time with family, and traveling. Dr. Binder received her medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School.
