Matthew M. Antonucci, DC, DACNB, FACFN, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Medicine in acknowledgment for his remarkable work as Chiropractic Neurologist/Co-Founder/Director of Neurological Performance and Rehabilitation with Plasticity Brain Centers.
Situated at 2000 N. Alafaya Trail, Plasticity Brain Centers proudly serves its patients in Orlando and the surrounding communities. The highly-trained clinical team of board-certified doctors and therapists has worked with thousands of clients, contributing to their health and performance transformation. Dr. Antonucci co-founded this practice with the sole purpose serve those with neurological challenges.
Board-Certified Neurologist, Dr. Antonucci has garnered an incredible reputation for his vast repertoire of expertise in neurology, physical, and functional medicine. With nearly a decade of clinical experience, he has attended over 1,500 clients with complex neurological conditions. Throughout his distinguished career, he has held private practices in Charleston (SC), and Atlanta (GA). Alongside his current capacity attending clients at Plasticity Brain Centers, he is a tenured Associate Professor of Clinical Neuroscience at the Carrick Institute, regularly lecturing both nationally and internationally on neurological rehabilitation. As a respected voice in his field, he has contributed to and published numerous research abstracts, and studies on the quantification of neurological function, efficacy, and accuracy of the technology, as well as clinical outcomes of functional neurology interventions.
An academic scholar, Dr. Antonucci completed his undergraduate studies on an academic scholarship at Central Connecticut State University. Following this, he went on to receive his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia. His post-graduate studies in neurology were completed at the Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies, where he was also able to complete a 2-year fellowship residency under the direction of Professor Frederick R. Carrick. He received both his diplomat in Chiropractic Neurology, as well as his fellowship in Functional Neurology, in 2009. Furthering his education, he also had completed additional fellowship training. He is board-certified in the specialties of Childhood Developmental Disorders, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Neurochemistry and Nutrition, and Brain Injury Rehabilitation.
Devoted to his community, Dr. Antonucci is an administrative Volunteer for the American College of Functional Neurology and also hosts local workshops and events, and speaks to local school students. As a testament to his outstanding service to the chiropractic profession, he was awarded the highest honor in the profession in 2015, a lifetime induction as a fellow to the International College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Antonucci dedicates this recognition to his father, Mr. Frank Antonucci, and to his father-in-law, Frederick Carrick, DC, Ph.D. He also dedicates to his business partners, Mr. Michael Budagher, and Mr. Matthew Ankrum.
