Jacqueline S. Williams, Psy.D, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Psychologist in the field of Psychology in acknowledgment for her dedication and commitment in her private practice and the Psychological and Psychoeducation Testing Center.
Proudly providing the highest standard of individual and couples counseling, Dr. Williams’ private practice is situated at 20720 Ventura Blvd Suite #210 in Woodland Hills, CA. At her practice, she is well known for her gentle and compassionate approach when she is conceptualizing, diagnosing, and treating clients based on a Cognitive Behavior Therapy approach which identifies “dysfunctional”, “irrational” thinking that causes people to experience depression, anxiety, frustration, and/or anger. Quality counseling and therapy services are offered to children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults.
Having led an outstanding 20-year career as a clinical psychologist, Dr. Williams is devoted to providing a safe, non-judgmental, and objective atmosphere with her private practice. She offers extensive training and a vast repertoire of expertise in depression, bipolar, generalized anxiety, lesbian issues, women issues (i.e., postpartum depression, infertility, menopause), life coaching, and psychological testing (i.e., intelligence, learning disability, ADD/ADHD, autism, personality, memory, age-related cognitive changes, and pre-bariatric surgery assessment). Alongside her clinical role, Dr. Williams serves as an Adjunct Professor at Moore Park Community College and teaches psychology classes at private and public community colleges, 4-year universities, and graduate schools within Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Clarita counties.
An academic scholar, Dr. Williams completed her undergraduate studies at Tuskegee University. She continued on furthering her training and received her Masters degree in Business/Accounting from Northrop University, a Masters in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University, and a Masters in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Psychology. She also obtained her Doctor of Psychology degree from Alliant University at the California School of Professional Psychology.
In her free time, Dr. Williams enjoys spending time with her Son – Clarence E. Mitchell III, and her Daughter – Shawnte Mitchell. Dr. Williams dedicates this honorable recognition to her Mother – Mattie Steele, and her Grandmother – Beatrice Terry.
