Ifeyinwa P.N. Onwudiwe, MD, FAAP, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Pediatric Medicine and acknowledgment of her role as a General Pediatrician with La Providence Pediatric and Family Clinics.
Operated out of two locations, La Providence Pediatric and Family Clinics is dedicated to serving the communities surrounding Gessner and Houston Rosslyn Rd. Demonstrating the highest standard of pediatric care, Dr. Onwudiwe and her highly qualified staff provide a wide array of pediatric services for children of all ages. These services are available in English and Spanish.
Board-certified general pediatrician, Dr. Onwudiwe has garnered 32 years of depth scientific knowledge and professional experience. She has devoted the past nine years at her current location, where she incorporates the latest educational knowledge and evidence-based medicine. She enjoys taking care of children and attending to their health needs.
An academic scholar, Dr. Onwudiwe, obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree, (BMBS) from the University of Nigeria Faculty of Medicine. She went on to complete a Pediatric Internship and Residency at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital Enugu in ltuku, Nigeria. Following this, she completed an additional Pediatric Residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She then did a Fellowship in Pediatric Neurology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Considering her academic achievements, Dr. Onwudiwe is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dedicated to achieving the best in patient care and treatment, Dr. Onwudiwe maintains active memberships with several professional organizations, including the Texas Medical Association, the American Academy of Neurology, the Child Neurology Society, the Harris County Medical Association, and Texas Pediatric Society. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
An active member of her community, Dr. Onwudiwe, devotes her time at her local church where she participates in community service and food and health care for the disadvantaged. She also speaks regularly at various events regarding public health issues and now the current pandemic COVID-19.
