Throughout his extensive career, he has offered a vast repertoire of professional experience and medical expertise in Cardiovascular Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, and General Surgery. In his current capacity, Dr. Chowdhry sees patients at Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons of Nevada at 4160 South Pecos Rd., Suite 10. There, he continues to provide the highest standard of cardiac care. Alongside his current position, he also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor, at Touro University as well as being on staff as an Attending Physician at local Hospitals. He is affiliated with Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center and Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center.
An academic scholar, Dr. Chowdhry attained valuable extensive training to prepare for his career and excelled. His acclaimed career began after he obtained his Medical degree at King Edward Medical College. Following graduation, he continued his studies with an internship at Toledo Hospital, completing his residency at University at Buffalo State University of New York. Dr. Chowdhry has attained double Board Certification and has received the Distinguished title Fellow of various associations.
Remaining at the forefront of his field, Dr. Chowdhry continues to stay up-to-date with the latest industry advancements and developments. He maintains active memberships with the International College of Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Chowdhry dedicates this recognition to his wife Kausar, a Doctor in Health Administration, his son Aqeel Chowdhry, a Radiologist, his son Shakeel, an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery University of Chicago, his son Adeel Chowdhry, a Cardiologist, and daughter Saba who completed a PhD in Cognitive Science & Behavior.
