An Ethiopia native, Dr. Gudal has led an impressive career for more than 20 years working with children and specializing in pediatric medicine. He is passionate about making children feel better and is very responsive to the needs of the families that visit his office. He ensures that parents are well-informed on how to successfully raise a child from birth through adolescence. Alongside his contributions with Kaiser Permanente, Dr. Gudal is committed to giving back to his homeland and returns each year.

Dr. Gudal earned a medical degree from the Somali National University School of Medicine. Following graduation, he went onto complete an internship at the Somali National University School of Medicine in Mogadishu. While discovering an interest in working with children and pediatrics, he took an opportunity to further his education in Italy. He studied in Italy for several years before applying for a United States medical license and moving to New York where he entered a pediatric cardiology residency program at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. To further his professional development, Dr. Gudal is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

In his spare time, Dr. Gudal enjoys listening to music, spending time with family members, and watching and playing sports, such as soccer and basketball.
