Health for Life Clinic proudly serves the Portland area at 6205 Carman Drive, specializing in Naturopathic Medicine. Led by naturopathic practitioner Dr. Bozena Celnik, the clinic is dedicated to providing the highest standard of patient-centered care by offering a unique balance between modern science, tradition, and Mother Nature. She blends modern diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with traditional methods including therapeutic nutrition, botanical medicine, and homeopathy. Since 1984, Dr. Celnik has been treating patients at Health For Life Clinic and uses natural approaches to prevent premature aging and to maintain good health and correct weight, treating patients. With her holistic approach, Dr. Celnik considers her patients’ whole health, designs treatment plans tailored to her patient, and focuses on the cause instead of just treating the symptoms.

Trained in all the naturopathic medical modalities, Dr. Celnik has garnered 36 years of vast knowledge and professional experience treating all aspects of family health and wellness. Born in Germany, she is fluent in English, Russian, Polish, and Spanish. Her practice areas skincare/dermatology, preventive medicine, weight management, hormonal imbalance and hormone treatment, women’s health, men’s health, public health concerns, full truck driver exams, dermatology, holistic approaches to health, blood tests, and specialty tests. Well-known as a hormone expert, she specializes specifically in matters concerning erectile dysfunction and the prostate, as well as menopause and low libido. She has valuable experience in conducting comprehensive blood test panels for various conditions, such as Pap smear, Trigger point injection, pharmacology and can provide creams for rosacea, psoriasis, and libido, among other conditions.

To prepare for her career, Dr. Celnik earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from the City University of New York. After graduation, she worked as a supervisor for a microbiology, immunology, and fertility clinic. Soon thereafter, she obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from St. Lucia Health Science University, and her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) degree from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. Gaining additional valuable experience, Dr. Celnik researched Multiple Sclerosis and Neuro Immunology at Oregon Health Sciences University and the VA Medical Center in Portland.

An active member of the local community, Dr. Celnik treats churchgoers for free at Word of God Church and Solimita Church. She maintains an active membership with the American Naturopathic Medical Association.

When she is not practicing medicine, Dr. Celnik is the host of a regular radio show on Russian Radio 7 (1010AM, KOOR Portland, Oregon) where she devotes one hour of sharing her wisdom relating to natural remedies and answering listeners’ questions live. She also enjoys gourmet cooking, charcoal drawing, painting, and reading. In the past, she has participated in the Portland marathon. Dr. Celnik is happily married to her husband, Robert Mayfield.
