Bogdana Trop, MD, Ph.D., is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Surgeon in the field of Trauma and Critical Care and acknowledgment of her dedication and commitment with Osceola Regional Medical Center.

Board-certified Surgeon, Dr. Trop is well-renowned for her outstanding contributions to the field of trauma and critical care. Having accrued 36 years of vast expertise and professional experience, she has garnered a deserving reputation as one of the first woman Ph.D. surgeons in Eastern Europe. Her primary areas of interest are trauma and critical care, as well as thyroid and colon procedures. At Osceola Regional Medical Center, Dr. Trop offers a tremendous repertoire of knowledge and expertise in trauma, critical care, and acute care surgery.

An academic scholar, Dr. Trop’s acclaimed career began after she obtained her Medical Degree at the University of Belgrade Medical School. Soon thereafter, she completed her general surgery internship with Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Medical School. She went on to complete a general surgery residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and later a fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine - Jackson Memorial Hospital. She is board certified in both general surgery and surgical critical care.

A front-runner in her field, Dr. Trop remains abreast of the latest advancements in her field. She is an active member of the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma.
