Leading an impressive career for the past 12 years, Mr. Maduka is a Registered Nurse, currently serving as the Administrator & Director of Nurses at Saint Catherine Hospice in Garland, TX. He is responsible for organizing and directing the agency’s ongoing functions, as well as leading and participating in the agency’s clinical and non-clinical endeavors. Among many of his other responsibilities, he demonstrates the highest level of professionalism and excels in ensuring all policies and procedures are followed within the agency. He utilizes his commendable repertoire of technology skills to also provide technical assistance and monitoring to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of paperwork. Additionally, Mr. Maduka has devoted six years to helping family members and additional caregivers in meeting the needs of severely ill patients with confidence and support to accomplish patient goals such as improved well- being, mobility, security, communication, and ease of caregiving.
To prepare for his distinguished medical career, Mr. Maduka is a graduate of Dallas College El Centro Campus, where he received his Nursing Degree. He continued his education at the University of Texas at Dallas. Since then, he has maintained an active membership in the American Nurses Association (ANA) in order to remain abreast of the latest advancements in his field.
Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Maduka has gained valuable knowledge and experience in his previous roles. In 2010, he accepted a position with Terrell State Hospital as the Nurse Psychiatry & Rehab Supervisor, acting as a liaison with the hospital and the patients. He had excelled in ensuring the implementation of a budgeting process and accounting system, as well as the achievement of financial goals. Following this, he was responsible for admitting patients and leading full body assessments at Timber Lawn Mental Health from 2011 to 2013. Shortly after, his latter positions as a registered nurse and RN case manager at Monarch Home Health, Epic Health Services, Homeward Bound Incorporated, and Kindred Hospital furthered his professional development in the home health sector. In light of his excellence, Mr. Maduka was listed in the VP Honor Roll and the Presidential Honor Roll.
An active member of his community, Mr. Maduka devotes his free time to community service at God’s Food Pantry and his church Winners Chapel. He also enjoys intramural soccer, basketball, and volleyball, and an active member of the Peace and Justice Club, as well as the Great Books Club.
