Having led an impressive career in the field of Anesthesia for 25 years, Dr. Ailloni-Charas has garnered a well-deserving reputation for his remarkable contributions. He is currently looking forward to retiring from the field and focusing on his venture capital company, Global Health Impact Fund. As the CEO and Managing Partner of the Global Health Impact Fund, he offers a combination of his clinical practice of anesthesia and his relationships to bring support to healthcare startups.

Throughout his extensive career, Dr. Ailloni-Charas excelled in varying roles including the Chief Financial Officer of large private anesthesia practice in San Francisco from 2003-2016. Subsequently, he served as the Vice President of Clinical Investments at AngelMD for two years, where he developed an evaluation platform and funding process for healthcare startups as well as built a large network

of experts to support due diligence and investment. In 2018 until early 2020, he worked at RedCrow as Managing Director where he developed a comprehensive, qualitative and quantitative analytical platform for evaluating startups. He also produced and hosted a web- based show in partnership with NASDAQ which was focused on healthcare startups. Additionally, he held several consulting positions with digital health and biopharma companies, including with Pacira and HealthTap.

An academic scholar, Dr. Ailloni-Charas is an honors graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and later earned his Medical degree at the NYU School of Medicine. Following his medical degree, he went on to obtain his Masters of Business Administration from Columbia University. He completed his residency as a specialist in anesthesia at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. With a commitment to excellence, he is board-certified in anesthesiology.
