Joyce Y. Brown, MSN RN, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Healthcare as a Registered Nurse with Detroit Community Health Connection.
Joyce Y. Brown has been honored for her outstanding achievement and service as a registered nurse with Detroit Community Health Connection in the Nursing and Internal Medicine Division. Detroit Community Health Connection is a community-based and patient-directed organization that serves patients of the community with limited access to health care.
Her responsibilities include observing and recording patient behavior, performing physical exams and diagnostic tests, collecting patient health histories, counseling patients and their families, educating patients about treatment plans, administering medications, wound care, and other forms of treatment.
Having been in the nursing field since 1979, Ms. Brown graduated from Wayne County Community College with an undergraduate degree and went on to earn her Masters from Central Michigan University.
In her free time, Joyce Y. Brown has been blessed with two sets of twins 1 – Charles Terri Brown, Carla Cheri Brown, 2- Rodney Kevin Brown, Roderick Keith Bron, and eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and enjoys spending time with them. Joyce Y. Brown dedicats her success in loving memory to her mom and dad, Alice L James, Charles W James.
