Karen Renov, PhD

Karen Renov Ph.D., is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Psychologist for the successes she has amassed in the field of Psychology. Currently, she serves as a Clinical Psychologist in Private Practice and with OHEL Children’s Home and Family Services.

Since 1969, OHEL Children’s Home and Family Services is devoted to protecting children and strengthening families. Beginning as a small foster care agency, the agency has evolved into a large social services agency consisting of 1,500 dedicated professionals and volunteers. Offering a wide array of expert clinical services, OHEL also provides foster cares services, mental health services, outpatient and residential services, training and education opportunities, and sleep-away camp opportunities for kids of all abilities.

An acclaimed psychologist, Dr. Renov is recognized for 10 years of professional excellence in her field. She specializes in a wide array of women’s issues, fertility, family dynamics, grief, bereavement, anxiety, and marriage. Committed to serving her community, she has devoted four years in her current position as a clinical psychologist and supervisor at OHEL. She leads a team of social workers and offers low-cost therapy to both individuals and entire families. Additionally, she serves as an Adjunct Professor at Einstein Medical.

Dr. Renov earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Jewish studies from Queens College. To further her education, she graduated from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University where she earned her Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling. Later, she also earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and went on to complete an internship at The Mount Sinai Hospital.

To further her professional development, Dr. Renov has maintained active memberships with several organizations including the American Psychological Association and the National Association of School Psychologists. Dr. Renov dedicates this recognition to Dr. Johnathan Feldman.
