Vinny Anand, MD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Nephrologist in the field of medicine with Columbia Memorial Health – Twin County Nephrology.
Board-certified and fellowship-trained, Dr. Vinny Anand is a top nephrologist serving the patients of Greene and Dutchess counties for 15 years. Nephrology concerns diseases related to the kidneys, Dr. Anand has studied normal kidney functions and kidney diseases, and the preservation of kidney health. With that, he can diagnose and treat kidney disease and managing hypertension from diet, to prescribing the proper medication to renal replacement therapy to dialysis, fluid, and electrolyte replacement. Dr. Anand studied abroad; earning his Medical Degree from Grant Medical College located in India, and then relocated to the United States to further his training. Upon his return to the US, Dr. Anand completed a residency in Internal Medicine with the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn in New York followed by his fellowship in nephrology at the Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla. He became board-certified in both nephrology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and continues to share his knowledge with the Columbia county medical society.
Outside of his everyday responsibilities, Dr. Anand enjoys kayaking and construction in his free time.
