Nabil F. Saba, MD, FACP, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of medicine as an Oncologist and Professor within the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology of Emory University.

As an Oncologist within the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology of Emory University, Dr. Nabil F. Saba guides his patients through the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer using chemotherapy or other medications, such as targeted therapy or immunotherapy. Dr. Saba has 21 years’ experience in the field of oncology and seven years’ experience in his current position as an Oncologist and Professor at Emory University with proficiency in head and neck, and esophageal cancer.

Dr. Saba attended medical school at the American University of Beirut where he also achieved his medical degree. After completing his training at Tufts University, Brown University, and Princess Margaret Hospital, Dr. Saba worked on exploring novel therapeutic approaches in head and neck cancers and published extensively in this field. He is a well-recognized international leader in the field of head and neck cancer clinical research especially in the area of EGFR targeting and immunotherapeutic applications. Recently published works include Dr. Saba is the author of more than 150 peer-reviewed manuscripts and textbook chapter publications, and then the editor of a textbook updating the management of esophageal cancer. Recent publications include: Targeting the EGFR and Immune Pathways in Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck (SCCHN): Forging a New Alliance; Nivolumab for Recurrent Squamous-Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck.; Nivolumab versus investigator’s choice in patients with recurrent or metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck: Efficacy and safety in CheckMate 141 by age.

In addition to her accomplishments with her published work, Dr. Nabil F. Saba is affiliated with ECOG, NRG, and invited Fellow American College Physicians. He has been voted repeatedly among Atlanta’s Top Doctors and is a recipient of a service award with the National Cancer Care Institute for his outstanding role as a committee chair.
